In the beginning we presented you with 32 of the summer's hottest celebrities, 16 men and 16 women, and put the task of crowing a King and a Queen of the hot season in your hands. The votes have been counted and the results are in.
So who in Hollywood truly had the best summer?
Your King and Queen of Summer 2010: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Now, several factors helped propel each member of this duo into the top spots. Not only did they kinda come out as a couple this summer via a very grainy photo, they appeared in Eclipse, one of the year's biggest box-office hits. And they both were filming high profile "next step" movies, Water for Elephants and On the Road.
With those events supporting them, they each did away easily with their compettion to meet at the top.
In the final round, Robert Downey Jr.'s charms proved no match for Rob's. The veteran actor was sent packing after receiving only 31.3 percent of the vote to Pattinson's 68.7. Likewise, Kristen ended final challenger Katy Perry's Teenage Dream domination, grabbing 61.6 percent to Perry's 38.4. -E! Online

Kristen Stewart Is Happier With Pattinson
The 20-year-old actress has been dating her 24-year-old Twilight co-star for around two years. Kristen is known for her serious personality, which often sees her criticised for failing to smile in paparazzi pictures.
Kristen is currently in Montreal filming a new movie and her co-stars were stunned by the change in the young star when Robert flew to the set for a visit. All of a sudden Kristen was behaving like a giggly teenager who couldn’t stop telling jokes.
“Kristen was a joy to be around, laughing and joking – she was like a different person,” a witness told British magazine More.
Robert and Kristen have reportedly being going through a rocky patch in their relationship recently. Robert wants to live in New York, while Kristen is keen to remain in Los Angeles, but they are believed to have decided to remain in California because they can’t bear to be apart.
“There was tension between them when Rob said he wanted to escape LA and move to New York,” a source said. “But as soon as Robert flew up to Montreal to surprise her, all their troubles just melted away.
“I think when he really thought about it he realised that as much as he’d like to live in New York, he doesn’t want to be anywhere without Kristen.”

Meet the newest Twilight Hunk!
ET's introducing you to one of the new castmembers of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.' ET correspondent Kate Gosselin chatted with new 'Twilight' hunk Rami Malek, at ET's exclusive Emmy party.
Malek told ET that he was thrilled about his upcoming role in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2." "I think it's going to be great," said Malek. "It's going to be super exciting and I'm thrilled," Malek said of joining the superstar cast that includes Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
For Malek, who starred in the Tom Hanks-produced "The Pacific," this was his first time at the Emmys and he was thrilled with the HBO project being awarded the statuette for Outstanding Miniseries.
'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2' is slated to reach theaters on Nov. 16, 2012. 'Breaking Dawn, Part 1,' meanwhile, is scheduled to hit the big screen on November 18, 2011. The films are expected to go into production this fall.

Some other networks also started their vampire movies to cash in on the success of Twilight.
"Vampires bring $7 bill to Hollywood economy," reported THR. The $7 billion revenue came after the release of 'Twilight', which hit the theaters two years ago.
"The three 'Twilight' films, released in 2008, 2009 and 2010, have a $1.76 billion cume at the global box office. The first two each has grossed another $160 million or so in home video sales (the third hits Blu-ray/DVD in September). That's more than $2 billion right there," added THR report.

Asian American actor BooBoo Stewart, who made his big screen debut in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this summer, also stopped by the jewelry preview. Apparently a big watch collector, Stewart picked out a Jacob & Co. 5 time zone Stainless Steel Mother of Pearl Timepiece.
